This course involves the study of interrelationships of employees, equipment, and work
processes as they relate to the processing of information in the automated office. Areas
of study include: location, layout and environment of the office; furniture, equipment
and telecommunication devices and selecting, supervising, motivating, and developing
the office employee; job analysis, evaluation, and measurement of work processes. Three
lecture hours per week. Not open to students who have received credit for BTE 318.
