Mandeep MaharjanFacial Recognition using Chain CodesThe purpose of this project is to develop a facial recognition application using chain codes. Chain codes are one of the techniques to recognize characters and digits successfully. In this application, I will be implementing two algorithms using chain codes: Canny Edge Detection and Skin Color Model Contour Detection.
Romario MatoCommunityContent sharing website that makes suggestions to users based on their previous activity. Content is categorized using sets of keywords called tags, which will help to give more accurate predictions for what a user will like. Users can make their own posts or comment on other existing ones, as well as vote up or down.
Jonathan HughesComparative Analysis of Material Classification Using ArtifiThe focus of this project is material classification from images using Artificial Neural networks. The materials to be used include fabric, foliage, glass, leather, metal, paper, plastic, stone, water, and wood. A diverse sample set of each material class will be used.For classification a back-propagation, probabilistic and convolutional neural networks will be compared to evaluate how each performs for the classification.
Ryan BakerZicronZicron is an Android application for small contracting businesses. It allows the user to register with his or her email, scan items used for each job, and punch in/out. It allows the manager to keep track of jobs, edit labor hours, invite new employees by email, and generate an invoice in PDF format.
Wei YuOnline Food Ordering and Management SystemTo provide a way for students and faculty to check posted food menu and make food orders conveniently on their mobile devices and also to provide an administrator with his/her dedicated login on a mobile device and to allow an administrator to monitor and update the contents. An administrator also receive information of orders by E-mail, The orders will be sent to administrator's Email automatically

The user will be able to load in an image from their device, select the sorting algorithm “effect” that will “filter” the image, and produce and display a newly constructed image.
Mehdi KabbajiManageiManage is an IOS application that will help “Chez Rachid” store to replace its current paper-based inventory management system with a computer-based system. It will improve the accuracy of orders and help the company to figure out exactly how much inventory it needs to have on-hand. The improved inventory management system can have real-time and monetary benefits.
Krista Jeanne ForsytheSSU Student Shuttle AppThe Salem State University Student Shuttle app is a mobile application for Android and iOS that will make the process of requesting a student shuttle-van much more efficient. Any Salem State student can log-in to the app and place a request to be picked up and dropped off at certain locations on or around campus.
Jiani WuBattleBattle is an IOS based two-player game application implemented by Swift and SpriteKit. It is played on a single mobile device, and has a single game entry but consists of Da Vinci Code game and Piano game. Da Vinci Code game is a card game which needs players to guess opponent's card based on rules. And Piano is a 2-D casual game. After each game, the winner will be shown.
