      • Taught Computer Networking, Computer Organization and Architecture, Database Systems, Algorithm Design and Implementation I,  Algorithm Design and Implementation II (in Java), Digital System Design, Survey of Computer Science I, and Survey of Computer Science II.
      • Served as chairperson of the Computer Science Department
      • Developed a graduate course on spatial database analysis and development

      • Coauthored two books entitled Computer Organization: Principles, Analysis and Design (English version and Chinese version)

    Web-based Client/Server Computing

    Involved in the development and maintenance of IMM (Internet Meeting Manager), a Web-based client/server system that holds Web-based meetings at a distance. Gained knowledge and hands-on experience of software development for Microsoft Windows NT Server with JavaScript, Visual C++ and Java.

    Conference Security Administration Package

    Involved in the development and maintenance of PIN Code Administration software for teleconferencing bridge. Gained knowledge and hands-on experience with TCP/IP and object-oriented design and programming with Java.
